He has been divorced 4 times and married 5 times.
He has been divorced from Sharon Williams, Gail Ann Hurd, Katherine Bigelow and Linda Hamilton. When he divorced his fourth wife, Linda Hamilton, a huge alimony deal made headlines. Piranha 2 was directed by James Cameron.
It's a perfectly screwed up movie. Even though James Cameron was directing, most of the production crew were Italian, so there was a lot of communication problems, and this film was produced in an absurd situation where there was no decision-making power in editing.
Miller Drake, who originally directed the film, was fired for no reason by the Italian producer.
It was a situation where the vacant manager's job was handed over to James Cameron. Later, director James Cameron revealed his thoughts, saying, "It is a miracle that the movie came out in itself."
For him, this movie will be a nightmare he wants to erase from his life. Critics also rate it as one of the worst debuts of famous directors.

Catherine Bigelow - was the third wife of director James Cameron.
At the 82nd Academy Awards, she became the first female Oscar winner in 82 years to win a Best Director award. The title of the film is The Hurt Locker (2008). I recommend it because I think it is a masterpiece that stands out for its delicate production.
