His real name is Frank Árpád Darabont. His Hungarian real name is Darabont Ferenc Árpád. He was born on January 28, 1959 in Montbeliard, France as the son of Hungarian refugees. He comes to the United States at a very young age and settles in Los Angeles, although we don't know when. His full-fledged career begins in 1981, when he meets director Chuck Russell. He began writing the screenplay in 1983, starting as an assistant producer in 1981.In 1984, he also joined the technical team as assistant to the costume/art department. In the 2005 film [King Kong], he even makes a cameo appearance as Marksman 3. He is a director who puts a lot of effort into knowing the overall part of the movie.
