Synopsis
It is a 1999 Hollywood fantasy crime thriller film adapted from Stephen King's novel of the same name published in 1996. The setting is Cold Mountain Death Penitentiary in Louisiana, southern United States during the Great Depression of 1935.
The movie's title, the Green Mile, is so called because the Last Mile (the last road a condemned man walks to be executed) is the faded green linoleum floor in the movie.
One day, the prison guard (Tom Hanks) has a mysterious experience when a black prisoner, 2m tall and 140kg, who is a child rapist and murderer comes in.
John Coffee, a black prisoner who doesn't look like a murderer at all, but rather pure and mysterious. Their story unfolds.

Evaluation
In Allocine, a famous French film review site, critics gave a 2.8 / 5.0 and gave a harsh review (see image below), but critic experts in other countries gave a contradictory position, and in the end, it was a box office hit and gave a harsh review. They suffered greatly.
The acting of the actors was perfect, and it was evaluated that almost 100% of the feeling of the original novel was saved. When you are tired and tired of life, this movie will be of great comfort.
